A Dress for $2.70... I'LL TAKE IT

"No one can beat a dress for $2.70!"

My current transition from college senior to working in corporate America is quite the obstacle. Recent grads may be the only group of people who can still relate to how complex and unprepared we were for this major transition. Having an average of 3 classes per day and working part-time is COMPLETELY different than having to be at work by 8am and leaving work at 5pm (to literally get home by 6:30pm-7pm). While I am grateful for working for a company that promotes individual growth, improves my work ethic, and allows me to invest in my dreams; there is something I under underestimated.

I UNDER ESTIMATED THE BACK TO BACK CORPORATE CLOTHES THAT ARE WORN 4 DAYS A WEEK!!

(Everyone knows Fridays are the chill days in office.)

I finally took my closest friends' advice and decided to finally visit a Rainbow near me. In this store I saw a lot of regular priced items but also a lot of discounted items. Although I bought a good amount of pieces from their store; there is one item I cannot forget. The most memorable, best priced, most comfortable piece I have ever bought after graduation has to be this red dress.

Before I stepped unto my job's floor I received various compliments from women ranging from millennials, to new moms, and even grandmothers! The most memorable compliment from this dress was hearing the director of my job tell me the red dress looks like it is worth $70. When her mouth dropped wide after hearing $2.70 ... all I could do was thank Rainbow.

Dress: From Rainbow. I bought this item in store and do not have a link.

Shoes: Payless.
